Spot on wrist because of watch?

I recently switched my watch band over from velcro to plastic and now the back of my watch is creating a red spot on my wrist. When it was velco, the cloth covered the back of my watch, it wasn’t touching skin. It dosn’t hurt or anything, but my skin is kinda peeling off too. Any ideas on fixing it besides getting a new watch?
I’ve owned watches from the company before with no problems.

You are allergic to the metal in the watch. It probably has nickel in it which many people are allergic to. One easy solution is to paint the back with clear nail polish.
